Kampung Restaurant, the hotel's main informal, open-air restaurant serves a selection of eastern and western cuisine throughout the day while the Italian Bistro offers fine Italian cuisine with stunning views of the sea. Coals on the Beach that serves food grilled to perfection offers the most unique dining experience. The hotel's bars offer a wide choice of beverages and cocktails.

Coals on the beach
The restaurant with the most spectacular view in town, Coals on the Beach offers unpretentious food and excellent service. This restaurant serves succulent steaks, lamb chops, lobsters and seafood grilled to perfection for the most unique dining experience.

Cocco Loco Fun Pub
This pub features an island bar for long drinks and light snacks as the day is winding down. The band's wide repertoire of the latest hits entices guests onto the dance floor or keeps their feet tapping tot he up-tempo rhythm. Service from the Fun Pub extends to the outdoor verandah, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the South China Sea.

Italian Bistro
An award-winning bistro serving exquisite Italian cuisine, this split-level restaurant has an open kitchen and is decorated with terracotta tiles and rattan furniture. Enhanced by panoramic views of the South China Sea, the restaurant also has an open-air kitchen.

Kampung Restaurant
This restaurant is an absolute delight. Breezy, relaxing and built on stilts right on the beach, it offers a panoramic view of the South China Sea. Furnished with locally made teak chairs, hardwood tables and coloured tiles, and featuring an open kitchen, the Kampung Restaurant reflects a blend of casual and traditional elegance, with a touch Minangkabau and Malacca influences.

Sampan Bar
The Sampan Bar is built out of a converted boat and is a unique feature of Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort. Originally a Vietnamese refugee vessel that landed on the shore near the Hotel in May 1980, the boat was purchased by the Hotel and the money was donated to the United Nations Vietnamese Refugee Fund. The salvaged boat was permanently anchored on the beachfront and converted into a bar. It is now a place where guests can enjoy a wide variety of drinks and cocktails while admiring the views of the South China Sea.
